MISSION <\/strong>MINISTRY<\/strong><\/mark><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The mission of our church is to go out and make disciples of Jesus Christ. There are many ways to serve. A few are listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADOPTED FAMILIES<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We provide Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas baskets of food to 12 families in the area that are experiencing hardships. \u200b<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

FAMILY PROMISE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Family Promise<\/a> works with homeless families to help them take steps toward independence. Platteville UMC is a host church that will host families overnight 4-5 times \u200bper year. Volunteers cook meals for the family, offer their hospitality and assist with other tasks. For more information, contact Susan Schlager at (608) 642-2826. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

MUSIC <\/strong>MINISTRY<\/strong><\/mark><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The “Alive” Christian band performs at our monthly Rock N’ Roll service. The service is the first and third Sunday of the month from January to June and the first and third Sunday of the month at 11 am from October through December. Mallow Ringers<\/strong> is a bell choir that performs regularly at the 8:30 am worship service. For more information, contact Dan Fairchild at fairchig@uwplatt.edu<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
